Rescue story

WEACT received a tip in March of 2021 that there were dogs dying at #HwaseongPaltanDogFarm. Upon seeing the stiff bodies of the dogs in the photos, we immediately headed to Hwaseong. The site was even more terrifying in person. There were 12 neglected dogs either trapped in small cages or tied up on short leashes with only food waste in a bowl. Without proper shelter, they had to endure extreme weather conditions and fear for their lives. Thanks to the help from our volunteers and RE:BIRTH, we were able to rescue all 12 dogs as well as three stray dogs nearby. #weact_rinda was finally able to escape from the cold, dark place and finally get to know the beautiful world waiting for her.

Personality

Meet WEACT’s Wonder Woman, Rinda!

Rinda is smart and strong like Wonder Woman. With exceptional spatial awareness, she knows how to differentiate indoor and outdoor environments. She’s calm inside the house and likes to rest in her kennel. When she goes outside for walks, Rinda lets out her energy and runs with the wind! She loves to express her affection to everyone, winning their hearts over. Give her a treat, and Rinda will show you everything she knows, all while being irresistibly cute.

With humans

Rinda loves everyone regardless of their age. She loves spending every moment with people!

With dogs

Rinda is a wonderful girl who can go for walks or play with both big and small friends. Because of her size and natural energy, she tends to play a bit more roughly when she’s with friends similar in size.

Energy level

Please enjoy at least one fun walk a day with Rinda, who has excellent leash manners.

Needs help with

Rinda prefers to go potty outdoors, so she will need training if she has to potty indoors.

Because Rinda absolutely loves people, she would do well as the only dog in the family so she can receive all the love from them! As a sweet little girl who adores attention, Rinda learns quickly and adapts well when her loving family guides and encourages her. We are looking for a bright, affectionate forever family who can help this ‘Wonder Woman’ Rinda become the true hero of her new life and enjoy the wonderful journey ahead :)
