Rescue story

WEACT received a report about a mother dog with peeling skin scavenging through trash cans to feed her puppies. We rushed to the scene, but by the time we arrived, the mother had already disappeared, and only her puppies had been taken to the city shelter. Fortunately, we were able to take the puppies into our care, but we couldn't give up on the mother dog and her adult daughter still wandering the streets. Their deep wariness from years of street life made rescue difficult, but after countless attempts, we were able to rescue the mother. Soon after, her pregnant daughter also came into WEACT's care. WEACT gave the daughter the name Yewon, and one of Yewon's puppies received the name #weact_Maju.

Personality

Meet Maju, a bold little heroine who confidently faces everything, just like her name suggests! Maju has a fearless personality and steps forward without hesitation even in unfamiliar environments. She's a puppy with a large presence, boldly playing with friends much larger than herself. This lovable girl comes running with a wagging tail when you call her sweetly, showing off her affection. But when she's caught an interesting scent or is busy eating treats, she'll pretend not to hear you and act aloof. This charming contrast makes Maju all the more lovable and captivating.

With humans

Sweet Maju has excellent social skills with people. She even approaches strangers without hesitation and quickly becomes friends with everyone.

With dogs

Maju is a cheerful puppy who loves other dogs. Please provide her with plenty of opportunities to meet various friends so she can continue developing healthy and joyful social skills.

Energy level

Maju is bursting with puppy energy! For outdoor walks, at least twice a day would be ideal as well as opportunities to run around and play.

Needs help with

Smart Maju is steadily learning sit, down, and wait! Please continue teaching her various basic life skills including crate training and pee pad training.

Ideal family

We're looking for a family who will be Maju's strong safety net as she explores the world. Since she's going through the crucial puppy phase, please walk alongside her through various training experiences with generous affection and warm attention. The type of home and whether there's a resident dog don't matter. However, if there is another dog, a patient friend who understands puppies and can teach Maju many things would be wonderful. She is waiting for a family who can stay with her as she grows, sharing joy through diverse experiences and encounters.
