Rescue story

The #Busan Dog Slaughterhouse was discovered not far from the #Busan Dog Department Store. The site, where many animals were slaughtered, bore horrifying traces on the various machines and tools. In a place where death is a daily reality, WEACT rescued #weact_lux .

Personality

Hi, I'm Lux—the one and only Giant Baby! 😄 I’m now accepting one lucky family to fall head over heels for my big dog charm. Big dog, bigger heart, and I come with an extra-generous smile and a heart full of love. My favorite hobby? Showering you with affection! My special skill? Stealing the hearts of every human I meet. It's not easy to get a straight-on photo of me because the second I see a person, I get up close and personal! I love to stick by your side and nudge you with my big, fluffy brown paws that look like little cotton balls. The world is still new and a little bit scary to me, but I’m a smart cookie. I'm learning to be brave, step by step—and growing into the sweetest, most loving pup you could ever hope to meet. I’m all about that supersized sweetness!

With humans

Lux, the little angel, absolutely adores humans! Every encounter with anyone in the house is pure joy for him. If someone walks by while he's resting, he can’t help but wag his tail and give them a sweet little eye greeting.

With dogs

Lux is a happy, outgoing pup with a positive curiosity toward every dog he meets! He loves to approach other dogs first with a wagging tail and a friendly attitude. From his time at the adoption center, it seems he prefers hanging out with dogs around his own size.

Energy level

Lux is an energetic and strong boy who likes to stay active! Since he’s used to going potty outside, once he starts his walks, he'll need plenty of time outdoors—frequent and long walks will be perfect for keeping him happy and healthy.

Needs help with

While Lux hasn't started outdoor walks yet, he's already leash-trained and improving every day. His walking skills are growing, and you can see him getting more confident! He's fully potty trained outdoors and has never had an accident in his kennel. Lux is an eager learner with great focus—short, effective training sessions work best to help him thrive!
